Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service (MVLS) Recognize Sam Baldwin as Volunteer of the month

Samuel Baldwin, Managing Partner.

Sam Baldwin, Managing Partner of Baldwin, Briscoe and Steinmetz, P.C., was recently recognized by Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service as “MVLS Volunteer of the Month.”  Each month MVLS staff members nominate a volunteer who they feel is really committed to helping clients with their legal issues and has gone above and beyond to get them the best results.

Mr. Baldwin says, “Volunteering in the Southern Maryland community has been very important to me for almost forty years. I know that the legal profession has provided me with many advantages. I am grateful for what my community has given to me, and volunteering my service is one way I can give back to the community.”

“There will always be members in the community who cannot afford our services,” said Mr. Baldwin.  He continues, “If there is going to be equal justice for all, MVLS is going to need volunteer attorneys who are willing to step up, assist and represent clients, and expect nothing in return from their client beyond gratitude.”

Baldwin, Briscoe and Steinmetz has offices in Lexington Park and Waldorf, MD, and is dedicated to serving the Southern Maryland community.

MVLS provides free legal representation to Marylanders with limited income in civil legal matters.  Clients qualify for services by meeting income, case type, and geographic guidelines (www.mvlslaw.org
